Snigput Vittles began as a gift for a friend. She told me that she wanted to compile her family’s favorite recipes and give a copy to each of her children. I had the idea to draw a character for each of her recipes and we’ve had so much fun with it, I decided to share them with you.

This first one, Beef Turnovers, is one of her family’s favorites. It’s also one of my family’s favorites; it was my mother’s recipe. I have it written on a card in her handwriting and it is priceless to me. Growing up, it was always my choice for birthday dinner! I hope you enjoy!
