This recipe is from Betty Cooper, Wendell Cooper’s mom. Wendell and Donna gave us a jar of this yummy stuff and I had to learn how to make it! You will notice that Mrs. Cooper says you must use a wooden spoon. She says it won’t taste right if you use a metal spoon. Don’t question tried and true methods. Just use a wooden spoon!
