Startup – Are You Riding the Science/Industry Life Cycle Wave?
My first startup experience happened while working at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the office of Technology Transfer with my best friend Mike. Our role was to review the science developed at the National Lab and determine if it had application in industry. It was the dream job for a Technologist, and I lost count of the number of new science programs we reviewed and the market studies we developed. One program really captured our imagination.
